Transportation to Kenosha & Carthage College
Arrival by Car
Please do NOT use online directions to map your route as they do not give you a very direct route to campus.
The Carthage campus is located on the northeast corner of Kenosha, along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Whether traveling north from Chicago (I-94 West) or south from Milwaukee (I-94 East), follow the directions below.
Driving Directions
Take I-94 and exit at Highway 158 (Exit #342). Continue to travel east on Hwy 158 (52nd Street) for 6.9 miles until you reach Hwy 32 (Sheridan Road). There will be a Wendy's on your right at this intersection. Turn left (north) on Hwy 32 and travel 2.2 miles. You will see Carthage College on your right.
There are three entrances into campus. You may take any of these to Visitor Parking Lot I. See the campus map for parking lot locations.
Arrival by Air
Air travel is easy and affordable into Milwaukee (MKE) or Chicago O'Hare (ORD). Train service is available from the airport to Carthage (see below for train arrival details), and a shuttle bus is available to Kenosha every hour from the Chicago O'Hare via Coach USA. You will take the bus to the Kenosha stop.
A shuttle will run from the bus stop to the workshop hotel on Sunday and back to the bus stop on Wednesday following the workshop. Contact Andrea Pelloquin to make a shuttle reservation. Participants are responsible for getting to the bus stop in Kenosha on their own.

Arrival by Train
Train service is available via Amtrak (Sturtevant) and Metra (Kenosha). Take a cab to Carthage or the workshop hotel (Best Western Harborside) as time allows. The Metra station is very close to the hotel and Carthage

A free shuttle bus is provided from the Best Western Harborside to and from Carthage College daily beginning Sunday afternoon for participants staying in the workshop hotel.
