New Deal Adds Mixcraft and More Popular Titles to Hal Catalog

MILWAUKEE - Effective January 1st, Hal Leonard Corporation has become an authorized distributor of Acoustica, Inc. software products in the US and Canada. Hal Leonard Senior Sales & Marketing Manager Brad Smith and Anthony Conte, VP of Sales for Acoustica, reached the deal. Acoustica was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Oakhurst, California. The company's mission is to create high quality software that is easy to use, intuitive and powerful. One of Acoustica's signature products is Mixcraft 6. With an affordable MSRP of $84.95, Mixcraft is a powerful, professional, and easy-to-use music production and multi-track recording workstation. It comes loaded with thousands of music loops, dozens of audio effects, and pristine-sounding virtual instruments. Mixcraft enables musicians to record audio, arrange loops, remix tracks, compose with MIDI and virtual instruments, add effects, score and edit video, and mix & master tracks to create polished, professional compositions. Hal Leonard will distribute Mixcraft 6, Mixcraft Pro Studio 6, Pianissimo virtual grand piano and CD/DVD Label Maker. Hal Leonard will also distribute upgrades, academic editions, and site licenses of Mixcraft, including a comprehensive teachers curriculum guide.
