Hal Leonard Signs Deal with IK Multimedia
Leading Music Print Publisher to Distribute Award-Winning Tone Generation Software and Hardware Interfaces
MILWAUKEE - The world's largest music print publisher, Hal Leonard Corporation has entered into an agreement to distribute IK Multimedia (IK) music production software and hardware to music stores in North America. Hal Leonard Senior Vice President of Sales Doug Lady and IK Managing Director Gary Kerzner negotiated the agreement, which goes into effect May 1, 2009. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1996, IK is a privately held music software company headquartered in Modena, Italy with offices in the US and the UK. The company has developed a new generation of award-winning music software designed to revolutionize the way beginners to professionals compose and play music.
IK is the industry leader in re-creating famous analog and tube gear - like guitar amplifiers and stompboxes - in software form. The company is the software partner of choice for such iconic brands as AmpegŪ, FenderŪ and Jimi Hendrix.
