Hal Leonard Glee-ful About New Releases

New PVG Songbook & Dozens of Chorals from Hit TV Series Now Available

MILWAUKEE - The world's largest music print publisher, Hal Leonard Corporation has released a PVG songbook and nearly two dozen choral octavos featuring the music from Glee, the refreshing new Fox comedy-drama that's taken the TV season by storm.

The Glee songbook offers 16 tunes from the show about an enthusiastic teacher who, against many obstacles, tries to bring a high school glee club into the spotlight. Appealing to the underdog in us all, the series features pop songs from the past and present, sung by a group of teens who just might prove all their doubters wrong. Contains piano/vocal/guitar arrangements of: Alone * Bust Your Windows * Confessions Part II * Don't Stop Believin' * Gold Digger * Halo * Hate on Me * It's My Life * Keep Holding On * No Air * Push It * Rehab * Somebody to Love * Take a Bow * Walking on Sunshine * You Keep Me Hangin' On.

Hal Leonard's leading choral writers have created arrangements true to what's sung on the show for these titles from Glee: Don't Stop Believing (Journey) * Keep Holding On (Avril Lavigne) * Rehab (Amy Winehouse) * Somebody to Love (Queen) * Girls' Sing Off (a mash-up of "Halo" from Beyoncé and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves) * and Guys' Sing Off (a mash-up of "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi and "Confessions" by Usher). All octavos are in the Hal Leonard Pop Choral Series and most are available in a variety of voicings.

Fox officially extended the run of Glee for the full season. Due to the show's popularity, a national Glee concert tour is planned, following the wrap-up of Season 1.

Comments Hal Leonard President Larry Morton, "Since there's no end in sight to the success for this show, dealers should do great with these Glee titles. We're proud to make them available."
