Hal Leonard and Blue Microphones Announce Distribution Deal


Expanding Tech Division of Hal Leonard to Distribute Award-Winning Mics from Fast-Growing Company

MILWAUKEE - Hal Leonard Corporation has announced an agreement with Blue Microphones, an innovator in microphone technology and design, to distribute select mics and accessories to the US MI market. Doug Lady, Hal Leonard senior vice president of sales, and Blue Microphones CEO John Maier reached the deal, which goes into effect on December 1, 2011.

Headquartered in Westlake Village, CA, Blue Microphones (www.bluemic.com) is one of the nation's fastest growing private companies, recently honored as such for the second consecutive year by Inc. magazine. Over the past three years, the company has experienced a staggering 267% increase in sales.

Hal Leonard will distribute specific Blue Microphones lines. These include the Essential series (Spark, Bluebird, Baby Bottle and Reactor models), the enCORE live performance series, a full range of desktop USB mics, and a variety of accessories.

Lady states, "Audio and technology products have been a massive growth area for Hal Leonard. Blue will continue to offer support to its retailers directly through their Technical Sales Regionals (TSRs), product support team and service center.
