Carol Klose, an accomplished performer, teacher, clinician, composer, and arranger, taught piano and composition privately in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formerly on the faculty of the Wisconsin College Conservatory of Music, she conducted workshops and master classes in the U.S. and Australia, specializing in student composition. With over 30 years in the music publishing field, her original works include piano solos, duets, art songs, a musical version of Dickens Christmas Carol, a book for teachers called "Creative Composition," as well as pieces in the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library and the NGPT Allison Contemporary Piano Collection. Carol held degrees in piano performance from Dominican University (summa cum laude) and Villa Schifanoia Graduate School of Fine Arts, Italy. She died in 2013.
