Jim has received commissions and awards from schools, churches, ensembles, and soloists across North America, including the American Composers Forum, the New England String Ensemble, and the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra. In addition to composing, Jim is a professional music engraver for publishing companies and individuals. He also enjoys reading, birding, and making music with his family and friends.
