Debi Witt Jones
Debi Witt Jones was born in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to Austin, Texas at the age of 5. Austin has remained her home since then. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and started her own business, Austintatious Advertising, in 1983.
Debi began playing the guitar at age 13 and began writing songs at age 14. She has been involved in several church praise bands for over 13 years and found that to be a good outlet for her songs. In 2000 Debi married Phil Jones and together they have Sunrise Ministries, Inc. which features the songwriting of both Debi and Phil as well as their beautiful voices. Sunrise Ministries has provided music to churches throughout Texas and in Virginia. Debi has recorded 4 albums, 3 of those in collaboration with Phil, featuring their original music.
Debi lives in Buda, Texas with Phil and their cat.
