Hallelujah Hinshaw Concert Octavo

Hallelujah Hinshaw Concert Octavo

This product has a minimum order quantity of ten copies.

Beethoven's first major choral work, the oratorio Christus Am Oelberge (The Mount of Olives) was written in early 1803. The work is not performed as a whole very often in modern times, but this final chorus called the Chorus of Angels has been published separately many times and has rivaled even Handel's Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah in popularity over the years. This edition, edited by Walter Collins, includes both German and English text. The pirtch level and rhythmic values are original. This choral masterwork allows a mature ensemble to really shine! Difficulty Level: Medium Advanced Middle School, High School or Medium Adult.
