6.18.25 — In today’s unpredictable rehearsal rooms, music educators are constantly adapting to changing ensembles—whether it’s an unexpected absence, an unbalanced instrumentation, or a fluctuating student roster. Hal Leonard’s new Flex-Pops series is designed to meet that challenge head-on, offering maximum flexibility without compromising musical quality.

Available in two formats—Flex-Pops for Winds and Flex-Pops for Strings—each collection features popular songs arranged to be performed by soloists, duets, or trios, with same or mixed instrumentation. Every book includes a three-part score, making the series ideal for small or blended ensembles, group lessons, performance assessments, solo practice, or school and community performances.

The debut release in the series is Disney, featuring 16 beloved songs including “Beauty and the Beast,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” “Under the Sea,” “In Summer,” and more. With books available for nine wind instruments—including flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophones, mallet percussion, and more—and four string instruments—violin, viola, cello, and string bass—Flex-Pops gives directors the freedom to create meaningful music-making experiences with whatever combination of players they have on hand. Each edition retails for $14.99.

The second collection will feature Christmas and holiday favorites and is scheduled to be released later this summer.

Flex-Pops Disney editions are now available on halleonard.com and at music retailers everywhere.
