Hal Leonard MGB and Samson Sign Distribution Deal for German & Austrian Markets

FRANKFURT MUSIKMESSE - April 14, 2016 - Hal Leonard MGB announced an agreement with Samson Technologies Corp. to distribute its professional audio products to music retailers throughout Germany and Austria. Shipping of the Samson Audio, Samson Wireless and Hartke brands will begin immediately. Headquartered in Hauppauge, New York, Samson began as a two-person operation and introduced its first wireless microphone system in 1980. In 2005, it debuted the first professional USB microphones for musicians, broadcasters and podcast enthusiasts. These mics as well as their wireless microphone systems are now the industry standard. Hartke revolutionized the world of bass amplification in 1985 with the creation of a unique aluminum cone driver that produced a bass tone with transient attack and broad dynamics. The company offers a full line of bass amps, cabinets and combos that are used by some of the best bassists in the world. Jack Knight, Samson's president said, "Hal Leonard MGB is the perfect MI distributor for us in Germany and Austria. They have successfully expanded their distribution services to cover a huge MI dealer network that continues to grow. They have a very impressive and respected sales team with real commitment to delivering the high level of sales expertise that Samson needs.
