Gail Pollock (Leven)

Gail Leven Pollock holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music degrees from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. She has done additional study at Westminster Choir College in conducting and voice building.


Gail is the composer/arranger of choral works for children, youth, and adults, as well as compositions for organ and organ/piano duets for Shawnee Press and other major publishers. She is an accompanist and adjunct instructor of class piano at Mercer University and the organist at Riverside United Methodist Church. Gail has performed as a singer, pianist, and organist in music festivals and choir tours in England, Austria, and Italy. She is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), the American Guild of Organists (AGO), and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).


In addition, just to be sure she didn’t miss anything, she has also composed and recorded a commercial jingle, directed a church music program, accompanied a community chorus, been music director and rehearsal accompanist for amateur and professional theater productions, been the keyboardist for the Macon Symphony and a dance band, and taught middle school music.
