The composer, organist, music teacher and pianist Rolande Falcinelli (1920-2006)studied composition with Henri Busser, among others, as well as organ with Gaston Litaize and Marcel Dupré. In 1941 she was the first female composer to win the Prix Rossini. Almost 30 years later she worked as a titular organist at the Basilique Sacré-Coeur in Paris.
