Hal Leonard Adds More Major Brands for Distribution

Chauvet, Gator, and Carl Martin join HL MI Products Distribution

Hal Leonard announced the distribution of three more lines to the music trade starting in 2022. They include Chauvet Lighting, Gator Cases, and Carl Martin guitar effects pedals. All deals started January 1, 2022, and cover the USA.

“We have heard from our dealers that they want us to broaden our selection of the best brands in certain hot categories. All of these support that plan,” says Brad Smith, VP of MI Products Distribution. “These established products complement other lines we carry so we can now offer more complete solutions at various costs and feature levels. That is the distribution advantage. It’s great timing for us to expand like this.”

Chauvet DJ Lighting fits hand-in-hand with Hal Leonard’s other recently-added distribution deal with Pioneer DJ, but beyond the DJ market, lighting is used in almost every space where music is performed or heard. Chauvet DJ has everything needed for lighting, controllers, and accessories with affordable “set-and-forget” systems for bands and solo artists.

Gators Cases is a world-leading manufacturer of cases, stands, and storage solutions for the music, pro audio, and audiovisual market. Protecting almost every instrument, console, and amp made, Gator has a solution for every budget. All Gator properties, including Levy’s Leathers, Frameworks, and Rackworks, are now available through Hal Leonard.

The legendary Carl Martin pedals are now exclusively available from Hal Leonard. Founded in 1993, they offer over 50 models including the classic Plexitone, Surf Trem, and the new Ottawa. Guitarists associated with Carl Martin include Joe Bonamassa, Pete Thorn, Greg Howe, and Brian Ray (of Paul McCartney’s band).
