*At this time, Hal Leonard has no objection to the use of our background accompaniment recordings in virtual ensemble or graduation videos for the Spring 2020 school term, provided the necessary licensing is secured from the song’s copyright owner(s).
Although Hal Leonard creates sheet music for numerous publishers, we can only issue a synchronization (video recording), broadcast, and streaming video right for songs we own. Here's how you can determine if Hal Leonard can handle your request:
Find at the copyright notice at the bottom of the first page of music.
If the copyright notice includes a Hal Leonard owned publisher, we can handle your request.
