Using Hal Leonard Published SongS in YouR Virtual Performance or graduation Video

*In many cases Hal Leonard will not control virtual ensemble rights to the composition you wish to perform. Please read the below instructions in full to learn how to secure permission for your virtual performance.

*At this time, Hal Leonard has no objection to the use of our background accompaniment recordings in virtual ensemble or graduation videos for the Spring 2020 school term, provided the necessary licensing is secured from the song’s copyright owner(s).

Although Hal Leonard creates sheet music for numerous publishers, we can only issue a synchronization (video recording), broadcast, and streaming video right for songs we own. Here's how you can determine if Hal Leonard can handle your request:

Please contact the song’s copyright owner(s), as listed in the copyright notice, to secure the necessary permission.
