Heinrich Isaac was a Renaissance composer of south Netherlands origin. He wrote masses, motets, songs, and instrumental music. A significant contemporary of Josquin des Prez, Isaac influenced the development of music in Germany. This arrangement of Issac's La Mi La Sol was written by Norman Weinberg for a quartet of xylophone and three marimbas.
