The British pop artist Ed Sheeran wrote Shivers at the end of his Divide tour. It is noteworthy that it took him three days to write the song, which is unusually long for him. He considered the song too special to get it wrong and wanted to be sure it would be great. This statement inspired Seb Skelly to take on the challenge and turn it into a fantastic arrangement for brass quintet.
