A reflection of our challenging times, Breathe journeys from a slow, brooding fog of uncertainty to a warm and human arrival. A simple, repetitive theme of twelve notes floats amidst an atmospheric electronic soundscape, rising to a majestic and emotional theme as the orchestration gradually fills with sounds made from people, not computers. The electronic track stops. The technology stops. All we hear are live musicians as the conductor, formerly tethered to unrelenting demands of a click track, is finally able to allow the ensemble to breathe freely.
