The Little White Donkey is a famous piece initially composed by Jacques Ibert (1890-1962). Arranged by the French flautist Marcel Moyse, and part of the set called Stories, this piece is the second one in the list of six. Rated as medium, its scores lasts two pages for flute and four for piano. Jacques Ibert (1890-1962), a neoclassical composer who won the Prix de Rome in 1919, also composed many symphonic suites, operas and seven orchestras, including Angelique (1926) and Entertainment (1930). He was also in charge of the Accadémie de France in the Villa Médicis (Roma) and was later administrator for the Paris Opera.
